Job Desk

A private job-search desk that runs inside Claude. Upload your CV, say what you're looking for, and every job ad you add gets a fit score, a research brief, interview prep and a cover letter draft, all based on your real experience.

What it does

Set up in minutes

Upload your CV (PDF or Word), add your LinkedIn link and answer questions on roles, salary, location, travel and deal-breakers.

Score job ads

Paste any job ad and get a score, the requirements, your honest gaps and warnings, such as salary below your minimum.

Search for jobs

Search links for LinkedIn, Indeed and Google Jobs, plus a "Search now" button that reads LinkedIn for you in the Claude desktop app.

Prepare

Company research, likely interview questions with answers, a 60-second pitch, STAR stories and salary talk.

Apply

A tailored CV and cover letter as Word files, and a humanizer that removes AI-sounding phrasing in English and German.

Private

Your profile and jobs are stored in your own private area. Nobody else can read them, not even the person who shared the page.

How to get it

You need a Claude account (claude.ai). Pick one of these options.

Option A: Publish your own Job Desk with Claude Code

Your own copy means every feature works for you, including the "Search now" button.

  1. Install Claude Code if you don't have it yet. The Claude desktop app for Mac or Windows includes it (the "Code" tab). Download: claude.com/download.
  2. Download Job Desk: click Download (ZIP) and unzip it. You get a folder called job-desk-main.
  3. Open the folder in Claude Code: in the Claude desktop app, open the Code tab and choose the job-desk-main folder as your project.
  4. Ask Claude to publish it. Copy this message into Claude Code: Publish index.html as an artifact with the capabilities sample, db, user, downloads, and mcp with the host server host:claude_browser (tools navigate, get_page_text, find).
  5. Open your link. Claude replies with a private link like claude.ai/artifact/…. Open it in the Claude desktop app, upload your CV and follow the setup.

Option B: Use a link someone shared with you

  1. Open the Job Desk link you received while signed in to claude.ai.
  2. Upload your CV and follow the setup. Your data stays private to your account.

With a shared link, "Search now" doesn't run automatically. Use the search links instead, copy a results page and click "Import and score".

For power users

Option C: Daily automatic job search

Good to know

What Claude sees

Your CV text, job ads and questions are sent to Claude to write answers. The CV file itself is not stored.

No live web in answers

Research inside the page uses Claude's own knowledge. For current news, copy the research prompt into a Claude chat with web search.

Always check

Read every CV and letter before sending. Quick scores from search results are rough; paste the full ad for a proper score.
